Map: Red Triangle (Origional TA map) Players: Smasher_BOMB, Gus, GBL_poosticks A 3 way ffa on this 3 way favorite (funny that =P). I had planned this strat from the battleroom, so no matter what (and despite my numerous nano-stalls) I was gonna try it out. All that was critical was to maintain a foothold on the main island at the lowest possible cost (hence the exclusive use of cons) there in case a protracted battle developed). And the quick establishment of a sea based energy economy to support a quick ramp up to mav and transport production. I thought 5 mavs seemed a nice round number for some reason, and waited for them. A quick scout of Gus's island showed no develpoment at all. So it was on to BOMB. The lower half was undefended to my peepers, so after a somewhat protacted delay the mave were landed. Unfortunately BOMB decided to examine the landing with his commy :( But then again that was the main idea behind the strat. After BOMB dissapared, I was pretty slack with Gus, but seeing as he had just caned myself and Cire in a gow match (at least in terms of production) I thought a bit of time to calm down might be in order =D The establishment of a firebase on Gus's Island (belated BB and all) and irregular scouting (yes, more would have been nice =P) meant a slow grinding down of my foe was enevetiable.
